“I felt like Chun-Li on a tuesday as M. Bison walked into the Village.” I’m guessing two things: you just watched “Street Fighter” on cable, or you’re more geekier than the rest of the world. (I’m putting my money on the second one, haha)
Didn’t know Street fighter was on cable this weekend :P
Darn, missed it :( it’s ok. I don’t think it is an obscure reference but it is very memorable as it was Raul Julia’s last performance on screen and he was ham as all hell. That quote was just amazing.
Kaya nga basta libre yung drinks! :)) AND if the DJs NOT into trance! Haha. One time we went to a Zombettes gig, Sanya played Dubstep. :D I think if the music’s good, I’m good. But, you know, if you don’t dig it, okay lang din. Kanya kanya :P
Free drinks should be there.
Dubstep live is weird. Not sure if the people around me are having seizures, or turning to zombies, or just simply dancing. I have some shots of a street gig wherein the DJs played dubstep.
On the other hand, I’ve talked to people who can’t stand the cramped space, the loud riff of the guitar, the effect of the drums on the chest, slam dancing, and everything else you see in a gig.
To each his own I guess but it’s really hard for me to have fun in a club. To tell you the truth, it is fascinating as all hell for me.
