What's the sweetest thing a girl ever did for you so far?
I took some time to contemplate the question anon, recalling past relationships and the women I have dated. I came to the conclusion that it’s not the grand gestures that I find sweet but rather, the little things. The small details that she does or she notices.
Like with my first girlfriend, I was at her place after a sucky-massive headache inducing day at school so she gave me a massage and a few rounds of Tekken (Where I lost badly). And I find it sweet.
There was this girl who knows I love Marvel Civil War Tony stark so she got me the Iron Man Civil War comic, and Iron Man toothbrush, and an Iron Man Key chain. The thought was sweet.
I also loved this one time, a girl gave me a C.D. of BBC’s genius of Photography Documentary series. It was a really sweet gesture. It may seem simple but the fact that she went out of her way to do that was sweet to me.
There’s also this girl that cut her hair short. I didn’t ask her to but she did. She knows I really dig women with short hair. Same girl was also with me on the beach. It was the first time I was with someone in an out of town trip. It was memorable and sweet.
Most recent is when the girl asked me to give her a photo of the image I took of her. She collects photographs as memories and asking that she wants the photo I took of her is insanely sweet to me. I guess because after 5 years of photography, no one has asked for the actual print of their photo before. And that means a lot. To me at least.
I guess, I like the grand gestures because it transforms your life to a movie. But I love the sweetness of little things because it is what you will remember. And when the little things are gone, that is when you know something is wrong.
